Why you should submit here, even if you already have elsewhere!

We keep them honest. If everyone only comments through the government/agency site, we have to take their word on how many comments were received. By submitting through BRC, we create an independent record of our communityโ€™s response that canโ€™t be buried or under-reported.

We protect your voice. If this fight ends up in court, having our own record of submitted comments means we donโ€™t have to wait a year or more for a government agency to turn over documents. We can move quickly with proof that thousands of you spoke up.
We keep you in the loop. When you comment through our site, we can send you updates on what comes next. If you only use the government/agency site, youโ€™re depending on them to tell you what happens next โ€” and they wonโ€™t.

Double coverage matters. Even if youโ€™ve already commented through the government/agency site, submitting through ours makes your voice count twice โ€” once in their system, and once in ours. That way they know the OHV community is watching and tracking every move.

For years, BRC has been trusted to run action alerts like this. Thousands of members and supporters have used this system effectively to defend access to public lands. This isnโ€™t about collecting your info โ€” itโ€™s about building the strongest, most transparent record possible to hold agencies accountable.

BIG NEWS! Utah Representative John Curtis introduced the Historic Roadways Protection Act in the House of Representatives this week. We’ve been encouraging everyone to support this legislation to save our Moab trails since it was introduced in the U.S. Senate on October 26. The next step was to get a member of the House of Representatives – ideally one who represents Utah – to introduce companion legislation in the House.

Representative Curtis has introduced HR 6396 in the House, and this is big win for the thousands of you who have been contacting Congress to encourage your members to support this legislation.

At first, everyone was saying that saving our trails in Moab through legislation would be a long shot. We disagree. It can be a long process, but with a motivated, passionate group of Americans it is never a long shot to make these changes.

This is a big win, but we still have a lot of work to do.

UPDATE for the week of November 13-18, 2023: Please call the Utah delegation and encourage them to support the Historic Roadways Protection Act as well as sending a letter below. You can also call Senator Mike Lee and Representative John Curtis to thank them for introducing this legislation.

Senator Mitt Romney: (202) 224-5251

Senator Mike Lee: (202)-224-5444

Representative Blake Moore: (202) 225-0453

Representative John Curtis: (202) 225-7751

Representative Burgess Owens: (202) 225-3011
