Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame (ORMHOF) has named BlueRibbon Coalition a 2026 recipient of the Bob Ham Land Use Award, which directs a donation from the Hall of Fame to an organization that fights for the off-road community's access to public land. The award honors land use advocacy, which is the work BRC has done since 1987. Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association is the other 2026 recipient on ORMHOF's list.
Bob Ham is a Class of 2006 ORMHOF inductee and a founding member of the California Off-Road Vehicle Association (CORVA). He has spent more than 50 years advocating for off-road access in California as a state-level lobbyist and policy consultant, and ORMHOF recognized him for "his many years of unwavering dedication to land use advocacy in California."
Each year ORMHOF sets aside a percentage of the funds it receives and donates it, in Ham's honor, to "a group, club, or organization that represents the off-road community in a positive light through land use advocacy, trail cleanups, and events."
The relationship between BRC and the Hall of Fame is older than this award. BRC co-founder Clark Collins was inducted into ORMHOF in 2006, the same year as Ham. Access to public land is lost one decision at a time, and ORMHOF's choice to put money behind the people who contest those decisions is the right one.
BRC first appeared on the Land Use list in 2016 as well. We are grateful and thank ORMHOF for their recognition, support and for the company we keep on this list.

BRC board & staff accepted the award at the gala on November 1, 2026. From left to right: Nick Pucci, marketing director; Simone Griffin, policy director; Shannon Welch, Vice President; Ben Burr, executive director.
