Throughout the past few years BlueRibbon Coalition along with other organizations such as Cal4Wheel have participated throughout the NEPA process for the updated forest management plans. Objections were submitted on the updated management plans due to the loss of access the Forest Service approved through the management plan. BRC and Cal4Wheel submitted official objections and therefore the USFS is required to hold an objection resolution meeting with all objectors. Many of the issues raised were not resolved during this meeting and not even addressed by the Forest Service which is ignoring NEPA requirements. Use the action alert below to contact the Natural Resource Committee as well as the representatives over these forests that they need to begin oversight over these land agencies to ensure they comply with NEPA and not simply bend to the will of environmental groups who are clearly pulling all the strings.
