H.R. 7695 and S. 140 Would Permanently Repeal Roadless Rule

The 2001 Roadless Rule locked up 58.5 million acres of National Forest land, blocking road maintenance, wildfire mitigation, and reasonable access for 25 years. Stop Vermont’s Wakesports Rule Changes That Would Dramatically Cut Lake Access

After Vermont’s sweeping 2024 wakesport rule cut eligible lakes from 73 to just 30, state regulators are now considering even stricter changes in 2026. Proposed revisions to the Use of Public Waters Rules could reduce wakesurfing access to as few as 18 lakes, further limiting opportunities for Vermont families and boaters. Submit your comment by February 20 to oppose the new wake sports restrictions and protect lake access.
