The Wambaw Trail Riders are a volunteer organization in South Carolina that helps maintain some of the last remaining legal dirt bike trails on federal land. When Hurricane Helene struck in 2024, the trails were heavily damaged—and their volunteer agreements with the U.S. Forest Service were disrupted.
